Tena Flex Tab-Style Briefs is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for changes while standing My care provider had been wanting a diaper she could change without completely removing pants and shoes. We have tried a few others that had tabs just on the sides, but they were awkward for changes while standing up. These diapers took care of that. It is easy to fasten the waist band and then pick up the tabs to fasten without having the diaper fall to the floor. The Velcro of the tabs also makes it easy to fasten and refasten the diaper. My only complaint with this diaper is that if you do not fasten the waistband securely it can let the absorbent part of the diaper droop, causing leaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works better than any other diaper I've ever used. I've been using this brand for at least the last 5 years. They have grown right along-side my now 16 year old son. They are the best for actively mobile special needs kids and adults because you can change them while they're standing up, without the need of removing shoes, pants, etc. And they hold ALOT!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dependable brief 46 year old, active adult with bladder/bowel incontinence. This brief is completely dependable for large amounts of incontinence episodes. I worry a lot due to significant leakage all at once that I'll have leakage from the brief but so far great. Easy to get on and off with the soft belt that wraps around where ever I need it to be placed and pull up with velcro tabs that are very secure. Now I can go out and change without it being a big production.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problems lately This product has been a problem in the last two orders. The tabs that fasten the product in my last order have been falling off during the night. Approx 50% of the last order exhibited this [problem as well as the waist strap ripping off the body of the brief during the night. The current order is also having the waist strap tearing away from the body during the night. Prior to these last 2 orders I did not see these problems. Something has changed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with leg braces. We were foster parents for an autistic teen who functioned at a two year old level. He also wore leg braces. The Teneflex briefs enabled changing him without having to remove his braces. He could be changed while standing in a public restroom.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for wheelchair bound kids We were not a fan. I got these because it said they were great for a quick change during school. This might work better on a child that's mobile but for a wheelchair bound child they were awful. There are no sides so they leaked everywhere especially when laying on the side. Not to mention the wrap around feature on the top was a huge pain to use. I will stick with the attends briefs so much easier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dissapointed When I tried the sample you sent, and the first first pack of 30 I ordered, I was very pleased. But, when I ordered the case, every brief I put on, the gray non stick side tore away from the brief! I still like the brief but now I have buy gentle paper tape and tape that side so it won't tear away from the brief to stop the brief from falling down. I will continue to purchase the brief because I have not found any other brief I like as much (even though it is costing me additional money). If not for that flaw, I would have probably given a rate of 5 stars.

I see this is recommended for easy change for child in school. Would you recommend this product for school aged child in wheelchair? If not, what product would you recommend for easy change for school aged child in wheelchair.

Asked by: Neta
A tab style brief such as the Tena Flex will be easier to change if the person is in a wheelchair. The NorthShore brand briefs will offer a higher absorbency. We would be happy to discuss this or any other options available. Please contact us at 800-563-0161 at your earliest convenience. We're always happy to help.
