Odor protection is weak
"Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. I was excited to try these out since I am a fan of Northshore products and thought these would meet my expectations. However, they did not. The bags themselves are thick, discreet, and have a pleasant powdery scent. Though when you dispose of a diaper, the urine scent is covered for a couple of hours until it's not covered at all, and you're left with a bag that smells like strong urine."

"Bags are wonderful. HOWEVER, for those of us with 82-year-old eyes and brains it would really have been helpful if there had been a bright neon sticker on the front of the bag container at the place where it is supposed to open with perhaps "OPEN HERE" so that we don't cut the top off with scissors! Very discreet with a minor adjustment
"My biggest gripe with this product was the logo being, although a bit opaque, kind of giving away whats inside for anyone who looked up the brand name. I've found turning the bag inside out before disposing of diapers basically does the trick of hiding the logo. I love this product. It is SO convenient to just have bags in a small form factor that block view from what is inside and the smell overtime by a huge margin. For discretion of abdl or print diapers, I use 2 bags because patterns tend to show through only 1 bag. Overall amazing product, I've bought hundreds and nothing else comes close to bags like these for disposing used diapers."
Essential Odor Control
"Having BMs in my diapers in addition to heavy wettings is routine for me and until I started using Discreet Shield, so was having to constatly battle odors wafting in the house from my poopy and heavily soaked diapers inside of cheap garbage bags. With Discreet Shield, this is no longer a problem. And I especially appreciate the dark opaque color, so no one has to know that you wear diapers, should they come across it if you happen to change at a public bathroom. No double bagging required. Do yourself a big favor and make these an essential purchase with your regular diaper order."

"The bags themselves are a good product. BUT, they are VERY difficult to get out of their package. They are tightly packed together and I end up with more than one (sometimes ALL) falling out of the package. In addition, the tab opening keeps falling back down and resealing even while I am trying to extract a bag to use."

"Great size for larger briefs like Megamax. Dark color hides contents well when in a public restroom. Thicker material is great and does not tear like other bags. Packed in 25 bag packages is great for travel to fit in suitcases. Longer handles would make these easier to tie."

- Why do these bags smell so bad They are unpleasant when they are in or out of the bag and really bad when a diaper is inserted. You have ro get them out of the house immediately after use and eep them in another plastic bag before use. The odor wakes me up at night
- Thank you for your inquiry. The old version of our DiscreetShield Bags did have a strong scent to them but we've since updated them as of November 2023 to new version that has a pleasant/fresh scent that helps masks odors.
