Finding Courage and Confidence Beyond Bladder Incontinence

George S. shares his story...
My name is George S. I am a 35-year-old in the Northeast USA. I have dealt with bladder incontinence for several years now, trying a variety of solutions, but eventually I came to rely on the MegaMax. My health journey isn't uncommon or unusual, but I want to share why Northshore means so much to me.
I am a Northshore enthusiast. When I discuss my issues in support groups, I'm always quick to recommend Northshore products to those in need. I do it because I want others to reclaim control and joy in their lives like I did.
My brand loyalty is spurred not just by the premium quality or the discreet shipping, but also by the enormously helpful blog and positive social media presence. This may not seem like much to outsiders, but to us, it's everything. We are dealing with a social stigma unlike that of most medical conditions. Incontinent people don't just need the physical support of their medical supplies, they need (perhaps even moreso) the emotional support of an empathetic and caring voice.
It's hard for an outsider to fathom how much it can impact a person's mental and social well-being to deal with incontinence. While almost every adult has some type of health concern, we're less open to discussing ours. It's easy to feel isolated, even among loved ones, when you can't tell someone why you're having a bad day. Our struggles are immensely personal, and they impact us in ways the people around us don't understand.
We live in a strange world where not only is our health condition stigmatized, so too is there a stigma attached to the condition's treatment: wearing a diaper or other absorbent product. So, we have to remind ourselves that we are not weaker, we are not lesser, and we should not feel guilty for finding a solution that restores our ability to lead more normalized lives. Those aforementioned voices supporting us need to be loud and strong, which is where Northshore meets an important need in the community.
To add a personal touch: my greatest joy is live music. Concerts can be one of the most visceral artistic expressions to witness. I have missed entire shows in the past because I needed to stick close to the bathroom, and for a time, I thought I would need to quit my favorite hobby. However, giving up on what I love is no way to live life. NorthShore gave me the resources I needed to get back to concert halls, and now losing my spot in the crowd and forfeiting my favorite songs is no longer a concern.
NorthShore is the Apple of incontinence products, a company that's an industry leader and a lifestyle brand. They have built a culture of inclusion and positivity that empowers me with confidence. I feel proud to wear my NorthShore branded baseball cap or tie-dye t-shirt on any random day. Surprisingly, no one has ever asked me what the brand on my shirt or hat is; if they did ask me, I would say "they are a medical supplier that helps me live to the fullest again," which is the shortest way I can summarize why I love NorthShore.
