Regaining Dignity After Colon Cancer Surgery: One Woman’s Story of Managing Bowel Incontinence
JulianaTheory151 shares her story
NorthShore products have helped me to live a normal life in spite of bowel incontinence after colon cancer. I could never imagine anything worse than suffering from bowel incontinence, but after lower anterior resection surgery to remove my rectum and part of my colon, this was my life.
Regular products I tried from the drugstore never helped, and I felt stuck at home to avoid a public embarrassment.
But once I discovered NorthShore and their vast assortment of liners, briefs, large size wipes, etc. I feel like I have regained some of my dignity.
I don't have to cancel plans when I'm not sure what my bowels are going to do that day.
If I have an accident, it's easy to clean up and continue on with my day with no one around me the wiser. Thank you for your wonderful products!
