Spun-bond breathable backing allows air to flow freely through the pad without allowing moisture to penetrate the backing. Once pads become wet, they will lose the breathability function and should be disposed of and replaced with a fresh pad.

SENECARE® Skin-Shield products contain a formulation which is encapsulated and incorporated into the product's materials. This non-reactive double lubrication provides treatment against red, irritated, painful excoriated skin. The incorporated formulation and construction of the products provide the extra value of being low-friction and anti-skin shearing.
The lubrication contains widely-used bacteriostatic ingredients, anti-irritants, Vitamins A, D, & E, Aloe Vera and Dimethicone, along with other quality skin protectorants. These products are designed for patients “at-risk” for skin breakdown, or those with currently compromised problematic skin. SENECARE products calm and soothe and increase patients' comfort.
