I purchased these booster pads for the first time several months ago and I have to say they are the best all around pads I have tried (and I have tried plenty). Some were too bulky and actually caused my overnight diaper to leak around the sides because the bulk prevented me from making the tabs tight enough around the leg gathers. Others weren't absorbant enough. These pads are great all around because they a) adhere to the diaper, b) they are not too bulky, c) they are very absorbant, and d) they fit nicely in between the leg gathers so you can get a nice snug fit. They also fit well on smaller, less absorbant diapers. I will continue to buy these pads for a long time. Thanks NorthShore!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves money and time I have been using these in Abena M4 diapers to prolong their use and reduce night changes and leaks. They add a little bulk to the brief but virtually eliminate any over filling of the diaper. One diaper with a booster will last me 8-12 hours. Men should place to booster in the front, it will keep it from being "pressed out" when you sit or lay. I like that it helps keep your butt dry while sleeping too, most of the urine will collect in the front and crotch. Instead of running around down and collecting under your butt, then leaking out the back waist band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An unconventional use for my side sleeping father My father is a side sleeper who wears pull-ons and doesn't wake up overnight. The large size holds a ton of liquid and my unconventional use helps with side leakage. I use 2 of these in his pull-on at night. I position one sideways from the front to the side. The other I position normally overlapping the one I just placed so that it runs front to back. This is the best solution I've found to date and he wakes up with dry pajamas 95% of the time. It is a two person job to fit these into a pull-on properly because of the flexible sides of the pull-on. I prepare a few of these at a time and use beach balls to keep the shape of the pull-on because of the stretchy sides. I know it sounds a bit crazy.. but it works for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very large! I bought these because I have extreme night-time incontinence and when my bladder lets go, it's like a flood. I wear pull-ups at night that are designed for heavy night-time use, but they're just not absorbent enough. So I got these booster pads to help out. The booster pads are SO big that I have to cut them in half (along the fold) and then I stick them together and then put them in my pull-ups. Together with the pull-ups and the booster pads, I now have enough absorbency!!! Success!!!! Have since ordered the next size down and they seem to fit much better. But I will definitely use these large booster pads because they do work! Booster pads are wonderful and I am thrilled silly I discovered them. North Shore people - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very absorbent booster pad! When I got my package of booster pads, I didn't know what to expect. I opened t he package and to my surprise, the outer materials were soft and comfortable. I inserted them into my adult diaper and I used my usual three layered and overlapping booster pads and I was able to wear my adult diaper for nearly 10 hours long without leaking. It wasn't until I changed that I saw the back booster pad wasn't even wet. I stuck that dry one into my next change...and it did just as well. The ONLY improvements I'd make is to offer a skinnier and thicker booster pad that fits inside the inner leg cuffs of the better adult diapers. I would also make them slightly less expensive and more affordable but for this level of absorbency, it is an affordable item. Adam Charles Lewis

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the normal use I do not use these as intended. I put them transverse across the back top of the brief to absorb at the back, and at the back of the legs. It works fairly well, considering the unconventional use and position, and the fact I have to trim them at the rear legs. At the legs, when the capacity is reached, they do flake apart. But it works. I have several re-order cycles which shows my satisfaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit well I purchased these along with the North Shore Supreme medium size adult diapers. I wasn't sure if they would fit being an X-Large. To me they fit perfectly and ad an extra layer of protection, both in the middle and on the sides. These boosters are almost the exact same size as the absorbent material in the above mentioned diapers. The protection is unparalleled in my opinion. These boosters with the side panels seem to only be available in the extra large size but even if they are available in other sizes these fit the Medium Supreme perfectly. If you want extra protection with the Air Supreme line these will fit them the same. I highly recommend these boosters.

How do i figure out what will fit in my diaper?  I would like to figure out what size would be needed for the large northshore supreme brief

We would recommend using a size large booster pad or any size below that. It depends on how much additional absorbency you're looking for as well.

In re: to sizing, would I order the same size of the garment it is going in or would I size down?

When choosing the right booster pad it's important to find one that will fit the core width of the pull on or tab style brief currently used. Usually with pull ons the width tends to be more narrow, so going down a size would be recommended. If a tab style brief is used they tend to have a larger width which can allow for a larger booster pad. Typically we don't want to cover any leak guards if that's something that the disposable undergarment features.

Which size booster pad will fit inside the leak guards of the NorthShore size medium pull on briefs best?

We would recommend the size small or medium booster pad depending on the amount of absorbency you're looking for. The size small will add 15oz and the medium will add 18oz to the pull on.

I am experiencing leakage on the sides. I wear small diapers and tried both small and medium boosters. Any suggestions?

Medium booster pads in a small undergarment may be going past the leak guards, which can contribute to leakage. The small booster pads should be a better solution, but if you're still experiencing leaks, perhaps we can assist you with alternate products or revisit your sizing needs. Is there anything out on the market similar to the Tena men's guard but with the diaper doubler capacity? My dad really likes the NorthShore booster pads but if there were something more triangular shaped for men that would be great!
